Revenue
The budget includes funds for the first phase of
the new integrated tax system estimated to cost $13.9 million over
three years. The total cost includes $2 million for software,
$400,000 annually for maintenance, and $235,000 annually for a
third party project manager. The state has expended $13.8 million
to date on the former tax reengineering project. The total cost of
implementing the system is anticipated to be $27.7 million. |
