Governor’s Proposed Use ofFY 98 Surplus Funds

The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report indicates a $94 million surplus for FY98. In November, voters passed a Constitutional Amendment calling for the appropriation of non-recurring revenue. Hence, surplus revenue must be spent in the following manner:
