Thank you for visiting the website for District 34. District 34 in
northeast Louisiana is a rural and urban area which encompasses all of
Concordia, Richland, East Carroll, Madison, Tensas and a portion of Ouachita
Parish. These parishes house the largest row crop farming communities of any
congressional district in the nation. This area is also truly a Sportsman's
Paradise!
My deep commitment to serve the citizens of District 34 and the great
State of Louisiana drives me to represent my constituents diligently and move
our state forward during these critical times. The survival and growth of
northeast Louisiana depends on economic leadership in bringing new industries to
the area and helping existing business expand as well as educational progress.
We must set our sights high in order to achieve success! In closing, I welcome
you to refer to this website often to contact me regarding your opinions and
concerns.
Senator Francis
Thompson
